Welcome everyone!

Now that I have two children, I’m not really keen to leave Earth. It would be fascinating to study their advanced technology and ask them why they were so keen on abducting people during the 1980s, and then just stopped. You rarely hear about UFOs these days (well, this century). But they used to be such a big part of American culture. I also don’t have a big enough pension yet, so I need to teach for 17 more years. But if they promised to feed me, well…tempting.
My goals are to further my understanding of groundwater beyond the basics I picked up from the first two classes. I now know enough about it to fool a high-school student into believing I know something about it, but it would be nice to take that a few steps further.

If aliens landed on earth tomorrow and I would not go home with them. I kinda like it here on earth and wouldn’t want to leave the comfort of here or my family and friends. I don’t really think I would like to travel in space, I can’t handle kiddie rides so I don’t think I would make it on a spaceship.
I hope to gain a better understanding about water here in the area that I can take back to my students so they can have a better understanding of the water here, where it comes from and to become better educated about water. I also use class notebooks in my classroom but would like to learn how to use them more efficiently and new ideas to incorporate into them.

1.If aliens landed on earth tomorrow and offered to take you home with them, would you go and why? If I liked and trusted the aliens I would think about going. So I guess not, the more I think about what it would take for me to go.
2.What do you hope to gain from this workshop? Deeper understanding/ exploration of the SPRB and how to communicate what I learn students and co-workers. Hands on activities and how to use them with students.

If Aliens were to land on Earth and they didn’t scare me, I would go with them. I think it would be fascinating to see the world that they live in and begin to understand their way of life!
I am hoping to gain a better understanding of the water and correlation with the land around us so I can better teach my students as we explore the world around us!

If aliens came to Earth and wanted me to go with them, I probably wouldn’t go. I like Earth, and there’s so much of it that I haven’t had a chance to yet explore!
Through this workshop, I’m hoping to learn more about the water in our region and its importance in order to help my students learn more about it with the Well Watch program and guide them in finding answers to the questions they may have.

1. If aliens landed on Earth and asked me to go with them, I probably wouldn’t go. I’ve always been a bit freaked out by aliens but if they asked nicely, and promised to bring me back, I would think about it.
2. I am hoping to gain a more in depth understanding of the the SPRB and how to use it as a touch point and continuous project throughout the school year to link together all the concepts taught during Earth Science (rocks, water, weather, natural resources & human impact).

If aliens landed on Earth and asked me to go with them, I would probably go if they promise me they’ll return me back to Earth. The reason is I want to find out where else water could exist in the universe! Studies have shown that there are traces of water or water vapors in comets and other planets but who knows, there might be some place else where water could be abundant and support extra terrestrial life.
My goals for participating in this workshop is to gain more knowledge about the Well Watch Program and hopefully be able to teach my own students this year.
