Investing in the next generation of students in the South Platte River basin to protect and address northeast Colorado’s growing water needs through standards-based and place-based STEAM applications. 

Key Features of WELL WATCH

The Well Watch Program is designed to cultivate a sense of environmental responsibility and appreciation for water resources among young learners. We provide a program that adheres to educational standards and emphasizes local relevance, focusing on STEM education to ignite curiosity. Our interactive methodology is designed to actively involve students in addressing environmental challenges within their communities.

NO TEACHER PREP

We come prepared with specialized tools, specimens, and interactive materials for a hands-on experience for students with no teacher prep.

What is the duration of each lesson?

We can make it work with your schedule. An hour is adequate for a lesson with an activity, but not always necessary. Fifteen minutes before and after the lesson is helpful for set-up and teardown.

 How much does it cost to participate in Well Watch?

Absolutely nothing! The Board of Directors form CCWCD has set aside funding to bring Well Watch program to students of Adams, Weld and Morgan Counties. 

 Is Well Watch suitable for all grade levels?

Yes! We will support Well Watch at any grade level.

Are the lessons aligned with educational standards?

Our lessons and activities align with the Colorado Academic Standards and cover a range of multi-subject areas! You can find a list of many of the standards by following this link.
